Wearable Art Garment
Create an art garment with Evelyn LeVasseur at the Visual Arts Center (VAC). Evelyn Levasseur likes exposing/sharing the joy of wearable art clothing with people. She enjoys helping them find the pride and joy the comes into their lives when they make and wear an original, one-of-a-kind garment. Evelyn will assist you in finding a pattern and learning simple sewing techniques to construction of your garment.
This is a series of classes that will be guiding you through the complete process of designing your own art garment. Students will be responsible for purchasing their own pattern and materials for their wearable art.

The Visual Arts Center serves Charlotte County, and beyond, with three major galleries, 6 classrooms, jewelry, glass, pottery & fiber studios, Gift Shop, Art Supply Store, and VAC logo items. Our 12,000 square foot facility provides the best art classes, instructors and exhibit opportunities for the community. Our courses are designed for all ages and skill levels, and we offer classes and workshops in a variety of arts media throughout the year.
