  • Beginning Tapestry on Little Loom
    Study weaving with Denise Moretti at the Visual Arts Center (VAC).  This course is an introduction to tapestry weaving.  We will use little looms to create 4 sampletapestry pieces.  Each piece willhighlight different basic techniques to create beautiful pieces to use ordisplay.

    Looms and tools are availablefor rent  $35.00

    Students can use their owntapestry frame looms.

    Tapestry yarns supplies:$15.00. 

    Please bring your own scissors


    Bring your own loom! Rigid Heddle looms are available for rent if needed.

The Visual Arts Center serves Charlotte County, and beyond, with three major galleries, 6 classrooms, jewelry, glass, pottery & fiber studios, Gift Shop, Art Supply Store, and VAC logo items. Our 12,000 square foot facility provides the best art classes, instructors and exhibit opportunities for the community. Our courses are designed for all ages and skill levels, and we offer classes and workshops in a variety of arts media throughout the year.
