Precious Metal Clay (PMC) can be a beginners dream as well as a new technique & look for the established jewelers to add to their repertoire. Beginners can learn to create complete pieces with-out soldering…basic techniques can be as simple as cutting out cookies! Experienced jewelers can learn an entirely new way to create finished jewelry, as well as complement their other metal work with hand sculpted elements. You will learn the techniques to create original pieces, torch fire & kiln fire, set stones in seconds, finish & shine, and much more.

The Visual Arts Center serves Charlotte County, and beyond, with three major galleries, 6 classrooms, jewelry, glass, pottery & fiber studios, Gift Shop, Art Supply Store, and VAC logo items. Our 12,000 square foot facility provides the best art classes, instructors and exhibit opportunities for the community. Our courses are designed for all ages and skill levels, and we offer classes and workshops in a variety of arts media throughout the year.
