    Learn Wire Wrapping at the Visual Arts Center (VAC) with Diana Reinhard. This class is for those new to wire wrapping. Participants will progress from the basics to advanced techniques of wire wrapping. Each week, you will be challenged with a new set of parameters. Topics to be covered include: tools, all about wire, what is the difference between a stone and a cabochon, measuring, creating a design, where to shop for supplies, helpful hints, and the ever popular "what to do when things go wrong." 

    $25 Material Fee to instructor. 

    Basic Wire Wrap Kit (Available for purchase at first class - $20) 

    Supplies: 
    • Small wire cutters 
    • Small needle nose pliers (NOT with serrations)
    • Small bent nose pliers (NOT with serrations) 
    • Optional - 12" or 18" ruler

The Visual Arts Center serves Charlotte County, and beyond, with three major galleries, 6 classrooms, jewelry, glass, pottery & fiber studios, Gift Shop, Art Supply Store, and VAC logo items. Our 12,000 square foot facility provides the best art classes, instructors and exhibit opportunities for the community. Our courses are designed for all ages and skill levels, and we offer classes and workshops in a variety of arts media throughout the year.
