Take your Pottery to the next level with Jack McClennen in the Visual Arts Center Pottery Studio. This class is for intermediate and experienced potters who want to learn to create their own voice in pottery by add-on techniques and improve their pottery skills. It will start with throwing exercises, the basis of throwing skills, and move quickly to more challenging projects. During this class, you will learn to pull handles and make various add-ons and techniques to create different styles of feet, rims, and lids, meld two pieces together such as tea pots, and much more.

The Visual Arts Center serves Charlotte County, and beyond, with three major galleries, 6 classrooms, jewelry, glass, pottery & fiber studios, Gift Shop, Art Supply Store, and VAC logo items. Our 12,000 square foot facility provides the best art classes, instructors and exhibit opportunities for the community. Our courses are designed for all ages and skill levels, and we offer classes and workshops in a variety of arts media throughout the year.
